Question Machine
A question goes in; a short film comes out, with a record of how it was made.

The idea is a programme in a fixed order, starting from the smallest thing that can be checked. First, a renderer: you give it a question, and it makes a short vertical film that can be rendered again, frame for frame, from the film's own record of origin. A video model, if one is used, would be only one more way of drawing. Next, a repository of the questions and the meanings around them. Only then a language for writing them down, and only as much of it as the renderer has turned out to need.
Why it would matter: a film that carries its origin with it can be checked, not only believed. We also intend to leave out what we argue against: no endless feed, no streaks, no invented scarcity. And it would make no claim to know what a viewer feels.
